When does the all reasonable steps harassment duty start?

The duty on employers to take all reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of their employees takes effect on 30 October 2026, according to the GOV.UK timeline for the Employment Rights Act 2025. Before then the duty is to take reasonable steps. Review your policy, risk assessment and training before that date.
